Travis Shaw won’t be stopped.
The Boston Red Sox first baseman went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in his team’s 4-1 win over the Kansas City Royals at Fenway Park on Thursday. Shaw now is batting .382 and has six home runs in just 75 plate appearances this season.
“It gives me confidence, helps me to relax,” Shaw said of his recent success on “Red Sox Final” after the game. “Once again, just trying to fit into this lineup and I guess take advantage of these last two months and put myself into a good position going into next year.”
