It goes without saying that 2013 was a special season for the Boston Red Sox. The team’s cast of lovable characters became an outlet for the city after the Boston Marathon bombing, and “The Band of Bearded Brothers” capped off its improbable postseason run with a World Series title.
Few members of that 2013 roster, though, are left in Boston, as the Red Sox struggle for the second consecutive season.
From the 25-man World Series roster, 14 players no longer are in the organization. Six pitchers, two catchers, two infielders and three outfielders from the World Series team have moved on via trades, free agency and retirement.
So where are all those players now? Glad you asked.
