Roman Reigns, at times in his career, has been disdained by a large group of WWE fans who are older than 6 or 7 years old. However, one fan went a little too far over the weekend.

Reigns was the victim of an assault of sorts Saturday night in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Reigns and Bray Wyatt were in the middle of a match when a fan threw a metal briefcase into the ring, which appeared to strike Reigns directly in the head.

CagesideSeats.com shared these photos from a Twitter user, which seem to show a fairly direct hit.

According to WrestlingInc.com, Reigns was a bit shaken up — as could be expected — but was able to eventually finish the match.

That came as security and police quickly sprung into action to try and find whoever threw the replica “Money In The Bank” briefcase. WrestlingInc.com also had video of the aftermath.

Rajah.com reported that the person who threw the briefcase was thrown out of the arena, but it’s unclear at this time whether any police action was taken.
