Adam Lallana came back from injury in the nick of time.

Lallana scored a fine solo goal for Liverpool on Thursday in its 1-1 draw with Bordeaux in the UEFA Europa League. Lallana returned with a bang from a thigh injury that kept him out of Liverpool’s previous three games.

Liverpool was struggling in the goal-less game when Lallana produced a piece of genuine class in the 66th minute. He dribbled around Pablo and beat a defender and goalkeeper Cedric Carrasso with a well-placed shot.

The goal was Lallana’s first of the 2015-16 season. He scored six in all competitions last season, so it’s safe to assume there’s more of this to come from the talented Liverpool midfielder.
