Bill Belichick is James “Whitey” Bulger.

Well, not really. But the New England Patriots head coach is depicted as Bulger in Grantland’s parody of the new movie “Black Mass,” which is based on the famous former organized crime boss.

Belichick offers advice to Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin in the parody. Tomlin is depicted as Bulger’s young son, who died of Reye’s Syndrome when he was 6 years old in 1973, the boy’s mother told The Boston Globe in 2010.

The film itself looks amazing, but it’ll be hard to top the parody, which offers yet another hilarious twist on the recent Patriots-Steelers “HeadsetGate” controversy.
