It didn’t take long for the Buffalo Bills to take on Rex Ryan’s persona.

“Don’t nobody like the Patriots,” Bills defensive lineman Marcell Dareus told reporters Tuesday, according to ESPN.com. “Let’s just be honest about it now. Put it out there.”

Yep, that’s pretty much exactly what you’d expect to hear from a Ryan-coached team that’s about to take on the Patriots. That’s exactly what Ryan, Dareus and the Bills will do Sunday when they welcome the Pats to Orchard Park.

While we can assume the Patriots won’t take any of the bait, the Bills already are laying the smack talk foundation for the latest installment of the Ryan-Patriots rivalry that started when he coached the New York Jets.

Bills safety Aaron Williams agreed with Dareus but couldn’t quite put his finger on one reason for disliking the reigning Super Bowl champions.

“I hate New England,” he told WGR in Buffalo, per ESPN.com. “It’s definitely personal for me.”

Why is it personal?

“Just the way they carry themselves on the field and stuff,” Williams said, per ESPN.com. “All the stuff that has happened to me in the past with some of the players has definitely gone through the roof for me.”

Even the team’s Twitter account got in on the action. Patriots coach Bill Belichick was asked Tuesday during a conference call about the crowd noise at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Belichick responded by saying that the Patriots prepare for crowd noise every road game, adding that they can control the crowd noise by playing well.

The Bills’ response:

Is it Sunday yet?
