David Ortiz has a big heart. That much always has been known about the Boston Red Sox designated hitter.
Ortiz joined the historic 500-home run club Saturday with a pair of homers in Boston’s 10-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field, and afterwards, Big Papi showed his appreciation for Red Sox fans with a thank you tweet.
