Eagles Player Tackles Fan Running On Field In Game Vs. Cowboys (Video)

Nolan Carroll made a highlight-reel play on an otherwise sloppy day for the Philadelphia Eagles.

One fan brought stupidity to another level Sunday by running onto the field during the Eagles’ 20-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field. Carroll, a cornerback currently in his second season with the Eagles, stopped the intruder dead in his tracks with an excellent open-field tackle.

Sunday’s game itself was ugly — like really, really ugly — and the Eagles are 0-2 to start the season. It’s never wise to run onto the field, but at least the incident temporarily shifted attention away from the dumpster fire that is Chip Kelly’s offense right now.

Solid work, Nolan.
