Jackie Bradley Jr. is one of the best defensive outfielders in the game, no matter where you put him.
The 25-year-old proved that point yet again Monday night in the Boston Red Sox’s 4-3 win over the New York Yankees. With the bases loaded in the fourth inning, Jacoby Ellsbury lined out to Bradley in left field. Baserunner Greg Bird tried to tag and score from third, but Bradley threw an absolute rocket to home plate to nab him and save a run.
Bradley has gotten work at all three outfield positions this season and has thrived at every one, even navigating the Green Monster at Fenway Park’s challenging left field.
