Let’s cut right to the chase here: Tom Brady didn’t have the most enjoyable offseason.
While his teammates were off making “Family Feud” appearances and getting honored in hometown parades, the New England Patriots quarterback was stuck pondering his fate after Roger Goodell administered and later upheld Brady’s four-game suspension for being “generally aware” of alleged ball deflation.
Brady sarcastically addressed his summer of (no) fun Tuesday night at the 2015 Patriots Premiere, but he did reveal one activity he thoroughly enjoyed: looking at a certain Patriots wide receiver’s Instagram account.
“Probably following Julian Edelman on Instagram has been my favorite activity all summer,” Brady said, via CSNNE.com “When he rubbed the mud all over his body, that was probably the one I enjoyed the most.”
Yes, Edelman really posted a video on Instagram of him rubbing mud all over his body. Here’s proof:
As Edelman mentions, this fantastic video was one byproduct of his trip to Israel earlier this summer.
Brady took a few trips of his own to get his mind off things, but we’d have to agree: Edelman’s weirdly awesome Instagram post probably would be the highlight of anyone’s day.
