Manny being Manny didn’t just start when he came to Boston. It was there from the start.

Manny Ramirez recorded his first major league hit 22 years ago Thursday as a member of the Cleveland Indians at Yankee Stadium. After going hitless the night before, Ramirez drilled a ball that one-hopped into the left-field stands. But as you’ll see below, he didn’t stop at second base following his ground-rule double — he kept going and rounded third before figuring it out.
