A new NFL season has begun, and it didn’t take long for Ndamukong Suh to be involved in another incident.

The Miami Dolphins defensive tackle, who was acquired as a free agent in the offseason, appeared to intentionally kick Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris’ helmet off during the second quarter of Sunday’s game at FedEx Field.

Suh made the tackle, got up, and made no effort to avoid Morris.

Many players would get the benefit of the of doubt, but not Suh. This isn’t the first time he’s done something stupid and dangerous on the field. It’s not even the first time he might have committed said offense with his feet.

Suh was also suspended for one game last season after stepping on Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Suh won his appeal of the suspension and only had to pay a fine. Before that, he was ejected from a 2011 Thanksgiving Day game for stomping on Green Bay Packers lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith.

He’s a repeat offender when it comes to player safety, with eight fines and two suspensions (including the one that was overturned) since his rookie season in 2010.
