Monday, 12:15 a.m.: Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant left Sunday night’s game early with dehydration issues, but it got much, much worse. Bryant left the game again later in the contest for a much more serious reason.

9:38 p.m.: Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker left Sunday’s game early with a hand injury, and was spotted following the 42-14 win wearing a cast.

— X-Rays on Carr’s hand came back negative, according to Raiders coach Jack Del Rio, per RotoWorld.

— Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas is getting an X-Ray on his hand after “tweaking it” in Sunday’s win over the Ravens. Running back C.J. Anderson also suffered an injury.

7:55 p.m.: New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz will miss Sunday’s season-opener against the Dallas Cowboys. Rueben Randle will start in his place.

7:40 p.m.: Terrell Suggs will miss the remainder of the season after tearing his achilles, the Ravens tweeted Sunday night.

7:27 p.m.: Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr left Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals with an injury to his throwing hand after attempting to stiff-arm Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones. Carr was listed as questionable for the remainder of the game, but did not return.

— Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington was carted off the field in the third quarter with a knee injury and did not return. Cardinals coach Bruce Arians later told the media he believed Ellington suffered an injury to his PCL and will get an MRI on Monday to determine the severity.

— Baltimore Ravens running back Terrell Suggs was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of Baltimore’s loss to Denver to have his foot evaluated.

4:54 p.m.: Good and bad news for the Colts.

It could’ve been worse, but losing T.Y. Hilton for “a few weeks” still hurts.

4:46 p.m.: Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Luke Joeckel was spotted on crutches and in a walking boot following the team’s Week 1 game against the Carolina Panthers, according to reports.

Joeckel reportedly said he’s hopeful to return in Week 2, but the optics obviously aren’t encouraging.

Joeckel, the second overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft, briefly played through the injury but was limited.

3:47 p.m.: T.Y. Hilton was forced from the Indianapolis Colts’ game against the Buffalo Bills with a left knee issue.

The Colts could be exercising caution, but it’s still notable given the wide receiver’s importance within Indianapolis’ offense. Hilton is Andrew Luck’s favorite target.

3:44 p.m.: Frank Gore returned to the Indianapolis Colts’ game against the Buffalo Bills. He had been sidelined for a series with a calf injury.

3:31 p.m.: Miami Dolphins tight end Dion Sims suffered a concussion in Week 1. The injury occurred when Sims reached for a ball in the end zone overthrown by quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

Sims landed on his head and even appeared to be out cold at one point. He was helped to the sideline and then was carted to the locker room.

3:27 p.m.: Ladarius Green will suit up for the Chargers. That’s good news for fantasy owners relying on the tight end while Antonio Gates serves his four-game suspension.

3:23 p.m.: One of Andrew Luck’s new toys already is dealing with an ailment.

3:18 p.m.: Luke Kuechly did indeed suffer a concussion. That’s obviously a huge blow to the Panthers if he misses any time with the injury.

2:43 p.m.: Linebacker Luke Kuechly, who just received a huge contract from the Carolina Panthers, left Sunday’s game before halftime with an apparent head injury.

Kuechly’s head was down when he hit Jacksonville Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon. The Boston College product immediately dropped to one knee and struggled to stand up, according to reports. He returned to the locker room, though it was right before the end of the first half.

Stay tuned.

2:35 p.m.: Antonio Cromartie’s first game back with the New York Jets hasn’t gone as planned. The cornerback exited the Jets’ Week 1 content against the Cleveland Browns with a knee injury.

Cromartie suffered the injury while chasing Travis Benjamin on Johnny Manziel’s 54-yard touchdown strike to the Browns wide receiver.

It was a non-contact injury, which is rather troubling, and details remain limited, though reports indicate that Cromartie’s return is doubtful.

2:29 p.m.: Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson briefly exited his team’s Week 1 game against the Carolina Panthers with an apparent knee injury. Robinson returned the next series, though, so the Jags appear to have dodged a bullet.

1:59 p.m.: Johnny Football already is getting a chance.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown suffered a concussion while scrambling for the end zone against the New York Jets. He initially was ruled out — that could mean an absence of longer than one week — and Manziel took over as Cleveland’s signal caller.

1:52 p.m.: Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson was forced from Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins with a hamstring injury. He’s not expected to return.

Jackson injured his left hamstring while attempting to catch a deep pass from quarterback Kirk Cousins. The former Philadelphia Eagles receiver limped off the field after the play

1:10 p.m.: And there you have it.

1:06 p.m.: A couple of wide receiver updates from FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer.

These reports pretty much line up with previously reported information.

12:48 p.m.: This doesn’t mean anything for Week 1, but it’s very interesting.

According to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora, Houston Texans running back Arian Foster remains well ahead of schedule following the groin surgery he underwent in training camp. Foster reportedly continues to tell teammates and friends that a Week 2 return is quite possible.

The worst-case scenario, barring any unforeseen setback, would be a Week 3 return, according to La Canfora.

12:31 p.m.: We mentioned earlier that Alshon Jeffery is active for the Chicago Bears. The talented wide receiver’s workload will be monitored, though, so you should temper expectations, particularly from a fantasy standpoint.

12:28 p.m.: Remember when Zac Stacy was considered a breakout candidate last season with the St. Louis Rams? Well, things have changed.

12:o2 p.m.: RG3’s rapid fall from grace continues.

11:59 a.m.: Tricky spot for Mike Evans fantasy owners, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers don’t kick off until 4:25 p.m. ET. The news still doesn’t sound good regarding the receiver’s Week 1 status, though.

11:57 a.m.: T.J. Yeldon’s Week 1 stock just rose a little bit.

11:50 a.m.: We learned earlier the St. Louis Rams weren’t optimistic about the status of running back Tre Mason. For good reason, apparently. He’s inactive.

The above tweet also contains good news for Chicago Bears fans and fantasy owners of Alshon Jeffery and/or Eddie Royal. Now, it’s up to quarterback Jay Cutler to take advantage of their availability.

11:39 a.m.: This is significant news for fantasy owners contemplating whether to start Tampa Bay Buccaneers stud wide receiver Mike Evans.

11:34 a.m.: Dwayne Bowe of the Cleveland Browns is inactive.

Bowe signed a two-year, $12.5 million contract with the Browns over the offseason that includes $9 million guaranteed, so Cleveland surely would like to see the wide receiver on the field.

11:29 a.m.: Aaron Rodgers already lost wide receiver Jordy Nelson for the season. Now, he’s dealing with an ailing Randall Cobb.

Fortunately for the Green Bay Packers, Cobb will play Sunday.

11:14 a.m.: Charles Clay always seems to be that waiver-wire tight end you keep an eye on, especially once bye weeks begin. But his nagging knee injury is worth monitoring.

That said, Clay, who signed with the Buffalo Bills over the offseason after four seasons with the Miami Dolphins, is probable for Sunday’s Week 1 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

9:48 a.m.: Mike Evans still will be a game-time decision, but this is promising news for the Buccaneers.

9:03 a.m.: Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd could return to the field as early as … right now, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

9:02 a.m.: The news doesn’t look as good for St. Louis Rams running back Tre Mason.

9:00 a.m.: If you own a Bears wideout in fantasy, it looks like you’ll be good to go, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

8:40 a.m. ET: Good things come to those who wait.

In this instance, the reward after what felt like an eternal offseason is a glorious slate of 13 Week 1 games to kick off the first Sunday of the NFL season.

In a vacuum, you’d expect every player on each 53-man roster to be ready to go for their season opener. But this obviously isn’t the case, as several players are dealing with nagging injuries that could keep them off the field in Week 1.

We’ve already learned New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz will be sidelined Sunday, but there are a few other wideouts whose status remains in question as game day approaches — Mike Evans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Alshon Jeffery and Eddie Royal of the Chicago Bears, to name a few.

It can be a lot to keep track of, but we’ve got you covered. Check back in throughout the day, and we’ll keep you updated with the latest injury news as it comes out.
