Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose were set to be joined by an unknown superstar Sunday for their match against The Wyatt Family at WWE “Night of Champions” when a random fan jumped into the ring.
Security quickly tackled the intruder, who stared down Reigns upon entering the squared circle. It wasn’t before some brief confusion, though, especially since the fan rocked a vest similar to those worn by Reigns, Ambrose and Seth Rollins during their days together as The Shield.
Chris Jericho was introduced as the real mystery tag team partner moments later, and The Wyatt Family eventually emerged victorious after some miscommunication between Jericho and the others.
Perhaps Reigns and Ambrose would have been better off recruiting Joe Blow after all.
