Panthers’ Cam Newton Leaps, Lands Full Front Flip For Touchdown (Video)

The Carolina Panthers are running out of offensive weapons, but they still have a very, very good one in Cam Newton.

Newton is one of the more athletic quarterbacks in the NFL, and if you don’t believe us, observe this 2-yard touchdown run he had Sunday against the Houston Texans.

That’s a full front flip for those scoring at home, and he would have stuck the landing had he not stumbled over Texans defensive end Jared Crick on the way down.

Panthers fans probably don’t want their franchise quarterback spinning through the air like a boomerang, especially after losing wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin to an ACL injury in the preseason.

But Newton appeared to be just fine after the play, even flashing that trademark smile after the score.
