FOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots could be without their starting center in Week 1.

After being on the field Saturday, Bryan Stork was missing from practice Sunday. Stork sat out of practice for most of the summer and didn’t appear in a single preseason game because of injury.

Six players who aren’t on the 53-man roster were spotted on the field for the Patriots. Linebackers Brandon King, Xzavier Dickson and Darius Fleming, tight end Asante Cleveland, cornerback Daxton Swanson and a big wide receiver wearing No. 15 appear to have been added to the practice squad.
