FOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots reportedly traded for wide receiver KeShawn Martin on Wednesday, but the move hasn’t been made official yet.

Martin, who was acquired from the Houston Texans, wasn’t on the Patriots practice field Thursday, and the team hasn’t yet made room on their 53-man roster by cutting a player. Defensive tackle Dominique Easley, who’s recovering from a hip injury, was the lone Patriot missing from practice.

The Patriots shipped a fifth-round pick to the Texans in exchange for Martin and a Texans’ sixth-rounder. Martin joins wideouts Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Aaron Dobson and Matthew Slater on the Patriots’ depth chart.
