Pedro Martinez, Patriots Among Those Congratulating David Ortiz On Twitter

History was made at Tropicana Field on Saturday.

Boston Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz joined the 500-home run club with a pair of homers off Tampa Bay Rays left-hander Matt Moore.

Former teammates were among those who congratulated Big Papi on Twitter for his momentous achievement.
