The St. Louis Rams needed a spark before Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They got a little more than they bargained for.
The Rams put on a nice little pregame fireworks show to introduce their players at the Edward Jones Dome.
Unfortunately, the pyrotechnics worked a little too well, as the Rams somehow managed to light their own field on fire.
Employees quickly moved to remedy the situation, but for some reason opted to use what appeared to be an ancient shop-vac.
According to those on the scene, the game was significantly delayed, as both teams actually had to head back to their locker rooms while the mess was cleaned up.
Not ideal.
