Curt Schilling’s hiatus from ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball” reportedly will be a short one.

Schilling was removed from last Sunday’s broadcast after he sent out a tweet comparing Muslims to Nazis. However, Schilling will be back in the booth Sept. 6 when the Pittsburgh Pirates take on the St. Louis Cardinals, according to SI.com’s Richard Deitsch.

Schilling also was taken off of the network’s Little League World Series coverage following the tweet. He eventually deleted it and apologized on Twitter.

Jessica Mendoza filled in for Schilling last week.
