New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and Buffalo BIlls head coach Rex RyanIt doesn’t matter what colors he’s wearing or which sideline he’s standing on. Rex Ryan badly wants to beat the New England Patriots.

The head coach will get his first chance to do so with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday when his club welcomes the Patriots to Ralph Wilson Stadium for a Week 2 AFC East showdown.

It’s been a typical Patriots week already for the loud-mouthed field general. Ryan’s already admitted to being envious of Patriots coach Bill Belichick, given running back Dion Lewis some added motivation, tweaked the Pittsburgh Steelers and had some interesting praise for Rob Gronkowski. And it’s only been a few days.

That’s nothing new for Ryan, as he’s always had a borderline infatuation with the Patriots that’s produced some memorable moments.
