Seth Rollins keeps bumbling on about the future being now, but if he isn’t careful, his future will be nothing more than a fading memory — before it ever begins.

The “face” of WWE opened Monday night’s “RAW” in Baltimore, two weeks after wrestling legend Sting stole the show and the world championship belt during Rollins’ statue unveiling ceremony.

Rollins began by ranting and raving about his greatness, per usual.

The crowd wasn’t buying it.

But Sting showed up on the video board with a message for Rollins.

Sting’s interference didn’t end there. During a match with Ryback — in which Rollins largely had his butt kicked but appeared to be on the verge of winning anyway — Sting popped up with a convenient distraction.

Seeing a Sting mask on his own statue grabbed Rollins’ attention just long enough for Ryback to hit a finishing move and pin him.

The dual-belt champion went on to lose again in the main event, this time in a six-man tag match with New Day against John Cena and the Primetime Players.

But adding insult to, well, insult, The Vigilante had one final message for Rollins: Say goodbye to your statue.

If the Night of Champions is anything nearly as disastrous as this for Rollins, it’ll be a long one.
