Jackie Bradley’s last few months have been a roller coaster. Unfortunately, he’s at the worst part of the ride.

The Boston Red Sox outfielder was on a tear in late August and early September but has gone ice cold as of late. He has just one hit in his last 30 at-bats and has struck out 17 times over that span.

But that doesn’t mean Bradley is just going to give up, and no one knows this more than Red Sox interim manager Torey Lovullo.

“He’s grinding right now, we know that,” Lovullo said on “Red Sox First Pitch” before Saturday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays. “But this game is built on grinds, and he’s had a lot of success, he’s felt it, and he knows what it takes to get back there.”
