Gary Barnidge has an impressive set of hands. But the Cleveland Browns tight end turned to some rather unorthodox parts of his body Sunday to make one of the craziest catches we’ve seen this season.
Barnidge went up for a Josh McCown jump ball with Baltimore Ravens safety Will Hill draped all over him. Hill deflected the ball, and it looked like the pass would fall incomplete.
Enter Barnidge’s lower body, which somehow managed to secure the ball and prevent it from hitting the turf.
We’ve watched this play about 100 times, and we’re still not quite sure how Barnidge caught it.
What’s even more incredible is that the circus catch went for a touchdown, as the tight end rolled into the end zone for an 18-yard score.
