The Boston Celtics finally have some semblance of roster stability, and it looks like they want to keep it that way.

The Celtics announced Friday night they have exercised their third-year options on guards Marcus Smart and James Young and their fourth-year option on forward Kelly Olynyk.

Smart signed a two-year, $6.7 million contract with Boston after the team drafted him with the sixth overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft. The deal included club options for the third and fourth years of that contract.

Young, the team’s other first-round pick in 2014, inked a two-year deal worth $3.4 million, with club options in 2016 and 2017.

Olynyk, meanwhile, signed a three-year deal with the Celtics worth $6.2 million after the Celtics took him 13th overall in 2013.

With this trio locked up through 2016, Boston now has five players on its current roster who are set to become free agents after the season: David Lee, Evan Turner, Jared Sullinger, Tyler Zeller and Jonas Jerebko.
