If Leonardo Koutris was faking an injury, a pair of stretcher-bearers ensured he’d feel real pain by the time they carried him to the sideline.
Koutris and the stretcher-bearers were involved in a hilarious moment worthy of its place in worldwide blooper reels Sunday during a Greek second division soccer game between host AEL Larissa and Ergotelis. They first pushed Koutris forcibly onto their platform, then dropped the Ergotelis player, fell him on him and dropped him again as they made their way to the sideline.
However, the stretcher follies seemed to galvanize Larissa players, who overturned a one-goal deficit to win the game 2-1.
