Bueller? Bueller?

Sorry, teach, but Bueller — in this case University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign student Ben Larson — won’t be in class.

Larson had a midterm scheduled for Thursday, which happens to be the morning after the Chicago Cubs’ National League Wild Card game.

It’s the first time the Cubs have made the playoffs since 2008 and just the fifth time in the past 25 years, so the lifelong fan got tickets to the game. Larson and his family are driving to the game at PNC Park — approximately 7 1/2 hours and 480 miles from campus, according to Google Maps — and will have to stay over. You see the dilemma.

Fortunately, Professor Dave understands the laws of the universe.

Best. Teacher. Ever.
