Surprise, surprise: Conor McGregor pissed somebody off.

The interim UFC featherweight champion stirred things up on Wednesday’s episode of “The Ultimate Fighter” — in which he served as a coach this season — when UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw showed up.

McGregor called Dillashaw a “snake in the grass” and began calling other fighters out, as well. He specifically prodded Cody Garbrandt, a member of Team Faber, telling him to “do something about it” when Garbrandt responded.

Here’s a longer behind-the-scenes look at the near-brawl:

Garbrandt explained his side of things on the TUFTalk Podcast this week.

“So what happened was Conor started talking sh — about T.J. and T.J. literally just went back to the coffee room and we’re like, ‘Why wouldn’t you confront him about here?'” Garbrandt explained. “And (Andre) Fili said, ‘You want to sing that song when T.J.’s gone. Why wouldn’t you say it to his face?’ Conor looks back and says, ‘Where’s that little twerp? I’ll say it to his face.’ I was kind of laughing about it.”

“He said: ‘What are you going to do about it? What are you twerps going to do about it?’ He said it the second time, and I said, ‘I’ll do something about it.’ He stood up and he was like, ‘Do something,’ so I ended up shoving him.”

Garbrandt also revealed that he cleared the air with McGregor later on, telling McGregor how much respect and appreciation he had for what he’s brought to the sport.

“To be honest, I can’t say at the end of the experience of ‘TUF’ that I hated the guy,” Garbrandt said. “I don’t hate the guy at all. Some of the sh — he was saying was funny.”

‘The Ultimate Fighter’ airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.
