Brandon Marshall: I Should Be Walking Back To New York After Jets’ Loss

Brandon Marshall is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. Part of being the best is recognizing your faults.

The 6-foot-4 New York Jets star didn’t have his best game Sunday against the New England Patriots, finishing with four catches on seven targets for 67 yards in a 30-23 loss. The 31-year-old also dropped a pass in the end zone late in the game.

After that performance, Marshall let the world know he didn’t believe he even deserved to be on the team plane.

Marshall has been otherwise terrific this season, and he even recovered an onside kick with under a minute remaining to put the Jets in position to win the game. But accountability is the best thing he can give his teammates now, so that’s what he did.
