Kevan Miller, David Krejci Catch Avalanche Sleeping On Bruins’ First Goal (Video)

This is the kind of hockey the Boston Bruins need to be playing.

The Colorado Avalanche got caught sleeping during a line change Wednesday night, and Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller made them pay.

Miller recognized the space on the far side of the ice, waited for David Krejci to give him a screen in front of the net, and rocketed a one-timer past Avs goalie Semyon Varlamov to put the Bruins on the board.

NESN’s Dale Arnold, Billy Jaffe and Barry Pederson broke down the play in the Amica Coverage Cam video above.
