Tom Brady Turned Down Postgame Interview With NBC After Win Over Colts

The biggest losers of Tom Brady’s so-called revenge tour might be the NFL and its broadcast partners — especially NBC.

The New England Patriots quarterback has let his play do most of the talking for him this season, as he’s responded to those questioning his ability and integrity by torching the league on the way to a 5-0 record. Brady’s been fairly tight-lipped in news conferences and interviews, and he’s been downright silent to interview requests from NBC on the national stage.

Following Sunday night’s win over the Indianapolis Colts, Brady once again turned down an interview request from NBC. It’s customary for one of the best players to do an on-field interview with Michele Tafoya, and NBC’s Al Michaels even teased a Brady interview during the broadcast. However, Brady had other ideas and declined the interview, per CBS Sports’ Will Brinson. He did the same thing opening night following the Patriots’ game with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

NBC did, however, get an interview with defensive end Chandler Jones, who even had a little fun with the interview.
