Xander Bogaerts’ improved defense didn’t go unnoticed across Major League Baseball.

The 2015 Rawlings Gold Glove Award finalists were announced Thursday, and the Boston Red Sox shortstop is among those up for an award in the American League.

Bogaerts, who is Boston’s lone Gold Glove finalist, is competing with Alcides Escobar of the Kansas City Royals and Didi Gregorious of the New York Yankees for the honors at shortstop.

The Red Sox had three Gold Glove finalists in 2014, though second baseman Dustin Pedroia was the only one to come away with hardware. Jackie Bradley Jr. and Yoenis Cespedes fell short in the voting for center field and left field, respectively.

This year’s Gold Glove winners will be announced Nov. 10. The complete list of finalists for both the American League and National League is below.
