BOSTON — Zdeno Chara is set to make his season debut.

The veteran defenseman is in the lineup for the Bruins’ Monday afternoon matchup with the Tampa Bay Lightning, head coach Claude Julien confirmed before the game.

Chara missed Boston’s first two games — both losses — as he recovered from an upper body injury suffered during the preseason.

Julien also confirmed that goalie Tuukka Rask would start in net Monday for the B’s. Rask allowed an average of 2.75 goals per game in four meetings with the Lightning last season.

Tampa Bay has not won in Boston since March 25, 2010, with the Bruins taking each of the last 10 meetings at TD Garden.
