New England Patriots fans are begging for updates on running back Dion Lewis’ knee injury, but head coach Bill Belichick has nothing to offer.

“I don’t have any update on Dion,” Belichick said Monday in a conference call with the media.

Lewis suffered a non-contact left knee injury Sunday during the Patriots’ 27-10 win over the Washington Redskins. He was ruled out of the game with the injury.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter provided the latest update on the Patriots starting running back. Schefter reported Sunday night that Lewis’ ACL was loose but there was no swelling in the running back’s knee. Schefter also reported Lewis was scheduled to undergo an MRI.

Lewis has 622 yards from scrimmage on 85 total touches this season. He was added to the Patriots’ roster as a futures signing in December. He emerged as the Patriots’ starting running back after a strong training camp and preseason.
