Chandler Jones and New England Patriots fans have one thing in common: They both love Rob Gronkowski.

Jones was mic’d up for NFL Network’s “Sound FX” on Sunday in the Patriots’ Week 9 win over the Washington Redskins, and he had to stop himself from cheering too frequently for the tight end.

“Look at that run by Gronk. Damn, I’ve got to stop. I’m being a groupie,” Jones said on the Patriots’ bench to defensive tackle Dominique Easley.

Jones called the big tight end “Gronky” and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady “Tommy Boy” in the clip.

The defensive end, who leads the NFL with 9 1/2 sacks, also accurately predicted the Patriots would shut down the Redskins’ rushing attacking, forcing them to throw the ball late in the game.

“First we stop the run, then we gonna have some fun,” Jones said.
