If you turned off the TV after the Golden State Warriors triumphed over the Los Angeles Clippers in one of the great regular-season games in recent memory, you missed the “Inside The NBA” crew break down the instant classic as only they can.

Among the insight and humor provided by Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith was an under-the-radar burn of Clippers center DeAndre Jordan.

While host Johnson narrated highlights of a Jordan alley-oop during the Warriors’ 124-117 comeback win, Barkley slipped in a dig at the center, whose offensive game is notoriously dunk-heavy.

If watching videos isn’t your thing, here’s the exchange:

“If (Jordan) couldn’t dunk and you left him in the gym all night, how many points would he have in the morning?” Barkley asked fellow analyst Kenny Smith.

“He’d do a lot of sprints,” Smith replied.

That’s mean. Accurate, but mean.

Jordan, as you might recall, had an eventful summer in which he agreed to sign with the Dallas Mavericks as a free agent but was convinced (some would say pressured) to re-sign with L.A. The Mavs have so far been fine without him, although the Clippers still look like an NBA Finals contender themselves in the long run.

Still, the 27-year-old’s waffling didn’t endear him to the old guard, with many former players like the TNT trio being tough on Jordan going back on his word. It doesn’t sound like Barkley, in particular, is ready to let up.
