Chris Paul and the Los Angeles Clippers were amped for Thursday’s game against their bitter rivals, the Golden State Warriors.

While defending league MVP Stephen Curry has been prone to ridiculous hot streaks several times already this season, it was Paul who lit up the scoreboard early.

CP3 dropped 18 points in the first quarter Thursday night, helping the Clippers establish an 18-point lead over the undefeated Warriors.

You can check out every bucket Paul made, several of which looked like they were taken straight out of a video game, in the video below.

This one in particular caught our eye. It’s OK if you watch a few times — we did too.

But hitting all those shots doesn’t come without taking a few in this rivalry.

Paul finished with 23 points in the first half and the Clippers led by 14 at the break. The most points any player has scored against the W’s this season is 28.

UPDATE (1:25 a.m. ET): The Warriors climbed back from a 23-point deficit and defeated the Clippers 124-117 to remain undefeated. Golden State outscored L.A. 70-49 in the second half.

Chris Paul finished with 35 points, the most by any opposing player against the Warriors this season. Blake Griffin added 27.

Steph Curry dropped a game-high 40 points and added a game-high 11 rebounds.
