No matter the outcome, Saturday’s big SEC clash between Alabama and LSU was going to have a ripple effect in this week’s College Football Playoff rankings.

The Crimson Tide won the game handily, allowing them to leapfrog No. 3 Ohio State into the No. 2 spot in the Week 10 rankings.

Clemson remains the No. 1 team after its win over No. 16 Florida State, and No. 4 Notre Dame rounds out the top four teams.

Undefeated Iowa and Baylor fell just short at No. 5 and 6, respectively. No. 7 Stanford, No. 8 Oklahoma State, No. 9 LSU and No. 10 Utah round out the top 10.

Navy was the top ranked Group of Five team at No. 20, which puts it in line for a New Year’s Six bowl.
