David Price, Darren O’Day Among 10 Free-Agent Pitchers Red Sox Could Consider

Stop us if you’ve heard this one before, but the Boston Red Sox’s biggest need by far this offseason is pitching. The good news is there are plenty of free agents to choose from this time around.

With huge names like David Price, Zack Greinke and Johnny Cueto on the market, the Red Sox have a lot of possible targets if they’re willing to spend big. There also are a couple of lower-priced options that could do the trick just as well.

Boston had some major bullpen problems last season, too, but there aren’t as many good relievers available for the taking. If the Red Sox spend a little money and maybe get creative, though, they still could bolster their bullpen with a few free agents.
