Soccer Claus is coming to town, albeit next summer.

Gillette Stadium has been selected to host games during the Copa America Centernario, the New England Revolution and Gillette Stadium announced Thursday in a statement. CONCACAF, CONMEBOL and the Copa America Centenario Local Organizing Committee picked Gillette Stadium as one of 10 United States venues that will host the high-profile international soccer tournament next summer.

The national teams of the United States, Mexico and four other CONCACAF countries will compete against Brazil, Argentina, Chile and the seven other South American nations in the special-edition tournament. This will be the first time South America’s regional championship has been staged outside of the continent, and some of the world’s greatest players could play in Foxboro, Mass., in just over six months’ time.

Fans can visit CA2016.com to be among the first to receive information about and access Copa America Centenario tickets. Revolution season ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets during a private sale.
