Jason Pierre-Paul: It’d Be Better For Giants If Tom Brady Is Sick Sunday

If you can’t beat ’em, hope they get sick and can’t play. That’s Jason Pierre-Paul’s motto, at least.

The New York Giants defensive end, who’s probably (unfortunately) best known at this point for blowing up his hand with fireworks this past Fourth of July, spoke to the media Wednesday about the Giants’ upcoming matchup against the New England Patriots. And Pierre-Paul had some interesting quotes about Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

At one point, JPP got a little overconfident in his abilities, insinuating the only reason New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was able to throw for 511 yards and seven touchdowns in a 52-49 win over the Giants was because he wasn’t playing.

However, Pierre-Paul’s confidence waned quite a bit when he was asked how the Giants could stop Brady.

It’s not really what you want to hear from a professional athlete, but it’s also not wrong.
