FOXBORO, Mass. — Bryan Stork didn’t just impress in his first game off short-term injured reserve. The New England Patriots offensive lineman also had a good week of practice.

Stork, wide receiver Chris Harper, tight end Asante Cleveland, defensive tackle Malcom Brown, safety Tavon Wilson and cornerbacks Rashaan Melvin and Justin Coleman were named practice players of the week for their work leading up to the Patriots’ Week 9 27-10 win over the Washington Redskins, the team announced. The honor typically goes to players who excelled on the scout team at preparing the starters for their upcoming opponent.

This is the first time Stork, Brown and Melvin have been named practice players of the week. Cleveland has taken home the honor five times this season — his first with the Patriots. Wilson has won four times this season, and rookies Coleman and Harper have been named practice players of the week twice each.
