FOXBORO, Mass. — Chandler Jones tops the NFL leaderboards, so now he wants some more love from EA Sports.

After he recorded another sack in the New England Patriots’ 27-10 win over the Washington Redskins on Sunday, Jones leads the NFL with 9.5. The defensive end came into the season with just an 88 rating on “Madden NFL 16,” however. Perhaps he’ll be included on the popular video game’s next roster update.

Jones was asked if he deserves more credit after such a spectacular first half of the season.

“I leave all of that to the critics, honestly,” Jones said. “Whether people talk about me or not, at the end of the day, I’m playing for my team. I’m playing for the Patriots logo on my chest, my teammates, the coaches, and I’m also trying to get my ‘Madden’ rating up.”

Jones and the Patriots’ defense held the Redskins to just 250 yards Sunday. The Patriots’ defensive line was stout against the run, letting up just 2.5 yards per carry.
