Patriots Practice Report: Julian Edelman Present; Duron Harmon Among Four Absent

FOXBORO, Mass. — New England Patriots fans can rest easy. Julian Edelman practiced Thursday.

The Patriots wide receiver popped up on Wednesday’s injury report with a knee ailment, but a source told NESN.com it was nothing to be concerned about and Edelman finished practice. That Edelman was back on the practice field Thursday would seem to confirm the receiver is fine.

Safety Duron Harmon was missing from practice, but his absence likely isn’t injury related. Harmon has a baby due any day.

Defensive end Jabaal Sheard (ankle), guard Tre’ Jackson (knee) and offensive tackle Marcus Cannon (toe) also were absent and look unlikely to play Sunday against the Washington Redskins.
