Pavel Datsyuk missed the first six weeks of the regular season recovering from offseason ankle surgery, but the 37-year-old’s recent return to the lineup has helped spark the Detroit Red Wings.

Detroit entered Wednesday’s matchup versus the Boston Bruins having won three of its previous four games. Datsyuk had points in two of those wins, including his first goal of the season Saturday against the St. Louis Blues.

NESN’s Dale Arnold, Billy Jaffe and Barry Pederson took a look across the sheet to examine the impact Datsyuk is making on the Red Wings on “Bruins Face-Off Live.” Check it out in the video above.
