Reports: Patriots Hater Ray Lewis Gave Bills Pregame Pep Talk At Hotel

Ray Lewis wasn’t exactly rooting for the New England Patriots on Monday night when the team squared off against the Buffalo Bills.

The former Baltimore Ravens linebacker was one of just two ESPN panelists to pick against the undefeated Pats, instead taking Rex Ryan’s Bills on the road. Lewis also provided egregious commentary that he’d rather play for Ryan than New England coach Bill Belichick.

But arguably the most interesting tidbit — and humorous, when you try to picture it — comes from this rumor.

It’s notable that Ryan served as a Ravens defensive coach from 1999 to 2008. Lewis’ career overlapped Ryan’s entire tenure with the team, so it’s really nothing more than a former player doing a friend a solid.
