The New England Patriots took a big hit in Week 10 when they lost wide receiver Julian Edelman to a broken foot in their 27-26 win versus the New York Giants.

Thanks to the hilarious people at “Funny Or Die,” Patriots fans can enjoy a quick laugh to ease the pain.

In their latest Patriots spoof, FOD unearths a texting conversation between Edelman and tight end Rob Gronkowski that begins with Gronk thinking Minitron had died during the game because “I saw you get hurt (Sunday) then you never came back.”

The conversation delves into a hilarious back-and-forth of twists and turns from that jumping off point, including faux Gronkowski admitting he once missed six weeks during the season because he “got lost in Foxborough.”

We’re just glad Gronk found an adult — and that Edelman is going to be OK.
