Tom Brady’s Facebook Shows Patriots Aren’t Overlooking Giants (Photo)

If you think the undefeated New England Patriots are looking past the New York Giants, think again.

Tom Brady dropped one of his customary Facebook posts before Sunday’s game at MetLife Stadium, and it shows the Patriots are well-aware of the tall task that lies ahead.

The Giants are the only franchise the Patriots haven’t beaten since 2008, with New York, of course, defeating New England in two Super Bowls in that span.

It’d be stupid to harp on the Giants’ Super Bowl wins over the Patriots as it relates to Sunday’s game. These teams are much different, even though the Patriots’ 2007 and 2011 teams have been mentioned in the same breath as this season’s New England squad for various reasons.

But Brady surely hasn’t forgotten those devastating defeats. And while a win Sunday wouldn’t necessarily avenge the losses, it would be nice for the Patriots quarterback to get over the hump against a historically difficult opponent.
