Florida’s only loss of the season was to LSU on Oct. 17, and the Gators have bounced back strongly from that defeat with two straights wins over Vanderbilt and Georgia by a combined score of 36-10.
The Gators still could reach the College Football Playoff if they win all of their remaining games, including the SEC Championship Game. For that to happen, they must defeat a struggling South Carolina team on Saturday that’s lost four of its last five games.
