Gilbert Arenas seems to think female athletes are nothing more than objects for men to look at, but there are plenty of successful sportswomen who show that’s far from the truth.
The former NBA point guard went on not one, not two, but three separate rants on Instagram calling for more “cutie pies” in the WNBA, suggesting that and more revealing uniforms would make the league an instant success. But female athletes have been doing just fine the way they are for a very long time.
From all the way back in the 1930s when Babe Didrikson Zaharias began dominating multiple sports, women have been keeping up with men with their athletic talents.
